George Carlin.

Big date night last night for Matt and I. We did dinner at our favorite restaurant (Jine's on Park Ave.) and we went to see George Carlin. We were so psyched. I have seen him on TV and my parents saw him and said he was a riot. Dinner was delicious!!! ..as usual. A couple thoughts about the show though.
The Auditorium Theatre, although beautiful, has let me down the past couple times I have been there. We went to see the Lion King and has seats on the floor. The seats were just so close together and it was SO hot in there. My OCD really kicked in thinking of everyone's body odor and germs...YUCK! I digress. So last night we were up a bit further...way up further and had the same experience. Too close to stangers and hot!
George was initially pretty funny, until about a half hour in. Then he began some stupid skit about creating a reality show about suicide then other not funny subjects. He had a lot of good things to say about the government of our country (not particularly funny but he had an agenda and used the forum to serve that agenda). Anyway, long story short, Matt and I left early. Happily! We were both tired and felt fullfilled with the time we had spent out thus far.
He turned out to be just a dirty old man - disappointing.
