DB.

That's him! My guy. He's the ONE that all the guys I have dated when I was younger had to measure up to. Not an easy task - just ask Matt.
But I grew up with this fantastic man in my life who taught me to explore, ask questions (he later regretted that), and look at life with an open mind and open heart. He is the best! Here's the facts about my papa:

- He once broke his toe chasing our dalmation while he was playing a kazoo (note: pertinant details have been omitted from this story to protect the innocent)
- He used to take me out on his Harley while I was young. It was so cool!
- He eats weird food - ie. ice cream and maple syrup.
- He is the first to do ANYTHING for our family because we are just that...family. "Blood is thinker than water".
- He is so funny! I remember going grocery shopping or to the mall and mom would get so mad (not really!) at us for being silly. He is one of the few people that can make me laugh until I want to vomit...it's a good trait!
- He loves flowers and gardening.
- He can get anything out of anyone's eye...at least growing up he was my go-to guy when I had something in my eye or a splinter, actually.
- He taught me that honesty is the ONE thing in this world that is SO fragile. If you break trust, it takes a long time to get it back "Look me in the eye when I talking to you".

Listen, I could go on and on but know that he is fantastic. He is true, loyal, hilarious, sensitive, bad ass, handsome, caring, honest, ..etc. I love you Dad! Thanks for being the standard!
