Employment Update.

Wow! What a response I have gotten from that blog I wrote. Now I feel guilty that I have alarmed the masses! So I thought I would update...
I have a couple new perspecitives...My new mantra is "Work is the thing I have to do between family time". It seems to be working.
I know that I work in a system that is not perfect, by any means. Ask any social worker and they will tell you that they are overworked and bogged down with paperwork. After talking with my supervisor he enlightened me to the fact that if you are good you get more work. Simple equation. No more money, just more work. If you appear competant, you are depended upon. So in a way it's a compliment. Seriously, Matt has been telling me this for years but I didn't want to believe that systems suck that bad!
I do like my job. It seems to me that every 2 months or so I have a meltdown. This one I made public, usually I keep it limited to Matt and my parents!
So thank you everyone for the enormous group hug! You all rock the house.
