28.

Matt had a birthday on the 10th. He is still a wee-thing (compared to me). I think this birthday was a bit different for us because he wasn't here. He was in Myrtle Beach visiting his best friend. He had a great time and it was wonderful that he went, but we missed him. We missed him a lot.
It sounds a bit hokey but I am glad he was born. I am glad he is who he is and more importantly, I am glad we were brought together.
It is so funny that when we had to move to NY from Philly how devestated we were. We saw no reason for it. But I have seen, as my life has unfolded, the reasons for it all. I was meant to meet the love of my life here. He is a wonderful man with strong ethics. He doesn't understand how men don't like their wives and thinks that working is 'just what you do'. (As opposed to me who can't understand the concept at all!) He is funny and silly and caring and loving. He is a great friend, a great husband and a great father. I adore him and can't imagine my life without him.
