We went to pick out our Christmas tree today. It was so fun! There is a local farm here in town that grows them and you can either cut your own (not my style) or pick one of their finely cut trees. Ella, Matt and I piled into the car to make our choice. It was a good choice. It's a good tree and I am excited to see it in our home.
I don't think it really hit me that Christmas was so close until about a half hour ago when the neighborhood boys across the street came over and did some Christmas caroling. There were three of them and they each had a solo. So sweet! So here's to a wonderful holiday to everyone...and may we all know the true meaning of our own holiday :)
