New Year.

So this is where I write some thought enlightened story about the past year and how I plan to make a ton of changes to 'improve' myself over the next year. Ahhh...no. I can't do it. The story part of the last year, sure, can do. But I have never been one to believe much in New Year's resolutions. It is sort of sad to me that the general population need a holiday to want to be well or make changes to loss weight, stop smoking or call friends/family more often/be nicer to their children/husbands/wives. I think we should be doing it all year long...continuously.

The past year has been a wonderful year! Ella turned one! What a great time that was. My fondest memory was her awareness that everyone was there to see her and celebrate something. It was also my 30th birthday! Matt threw me a party which was so wonderful of him. I had a great time. Both events were full of love because we were surrounded by friends and family. In the past year my friend, Nikki, had a baby...a long awaited miracle. Three of my loved ones got engaged and one of my other best friends is pregnant!
It has been a full year. Full of new beginnings and joy! Happy New Year everyone. Here's to wishing you a peaceful and loving new year!
